| New: i-STATION LINK, Data Collection and View System |
Ishida has released a data collection and view system, i-STATION LINK, in response to the growing demand for effective data management in factices.
The i-STATION LINK is able to collect weighing data of CCW multihead weighers and DACS checkweighers via Ethernet network and displays it on a PC in an easily understood format. This not only lets you check real-time production status from an office that is away from factory, but also allows weighing data to be further analyzed with a PC.
Features of i-STATION LINK
One feature is viewing real-time and historical production data for each machine. On a PC screen, weighing result with product weight distribution chart is displayed in an easily understood format, which provides instant updates for selected machines. Also, specific weighing result can be displayed for each machine by date and time so that past production can be easily checked.
In addition, the i-STATION LINK is able to display individual weighing data in a list. All the data can be exported to Excel file by selecting a model name to make further analysis of weighing result.
The production report obtained from each machines will be printed out in an easy-to-read format, so that operators can use it as a production report.
This new system can be used with both new and already installed Ishida models.

| Shanghai Ishida expanded factory and office |
Shanghai Ishida Electronic Scales Ltd., an Ishida's sales and manufacturing base in Shanghai, China, moved to a new office on 6th of October and made a new start.
The company originally started its manufacturing and sales in China from 2000 and have been providing total services over the country, from developing, designing, manufacturing, sales, to after-sales service of wide range of products used for manufacturing factory or retail stores. With the recent rapid growth of China's economy, the number of sales and manufacturing units at Ishida's China factry has also been growing year by year and the expansion of the production line was inevitable.
The new factory is 7,000 square meters with a manufacturing building and a sales office, which is more than double site area in comparison with previous factory and its manufacturing circumstance has been significantly enhanced.
With the new office and factory, Shanghai Ishida are willing to work harder to know the customer's changing needs and provide quick response to those requirements.

Accurate weighing for fresh and highly adhesive products;

Ishida's new multihead weigher with rotary screw-feeder can provide innovative solution for weighing of difficult-to-handling high adhesive products such as raw meat, raw fish, cooked pasta, etc.
As such sticky products tend to easily stick to weigher's surface and absorb vibration of dispersion feeder of the weigher, it is quite difficult to feed them accurately into weighing hoppers. What Ishida proposes as a solution is "screw-feeder". A set of screw-feeder rotates according to product configurations, providing appropriate and precise control of product supply to the hoppers of even highly adhesive materials.
