Comprehensive Support for Efficient Equipment Use
The Ishida Service Department has comprehensive duties. It is responsible for supporting the training of Ishida's service personnel, setting up equipment, providing appropriate training and guidance to customers for safe and efficient use of Ishida equipment, as well as preparing technical documents such as service manuals.
For customers, quick parts delivery is essential for minimizing down time. Maintenance parts orders, therefore, are processed separately from the standard production flow by Ishida's highly trained experts using parts manuals and a computerized management system. In addition to quick parts delivery, maintenance service by skilled service personnel is vital for efficient use of the equipment.
Accordingly, the department holds regular in-house training sessions for all Ishida service personnel as part of our effort to keep high levels of maintenance service worldwide. Ishida conducts in-house skill certification and examinations to achieve a uniformly high level of expertise.
With the aim of promoting efficient use of our equipment and ultimately reducing maintenance costs and down time for the customer, Ishida has begun to emphasize customer training and improvement of the consulting capability of our service personnel under the motto "Service before trouble, not after".
