"Ishida Eco-foster" activity
A volunteer group named "Ishida Eco-foster" has been organized in Ishida for the purpose of cleaning up the public roads.
"Ishida Eco-office Declaration" campaign
A campaign named "Ishida Eco-office declaration" has been promoted in Ishida offices in an effort to reduce CO2 emissions.
[Some of the concrete countermeasures are as follows]
- Set air conditioning temperatures at 27ºC in summer and 21ºC in winter.
- Casual clothes in the office (no ties) in summer
- Energy saving (electric, water, gas and fuel use)
- Promotion of purchasing environment-friendly products
- Recycling of papers or other materials, and so on

We work with non-profit organization to deepen ties with the community and deal with the issues of concern
Environmental education and seminars
We promote environmental education and hold seminars in corporation with Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other various organizations.
Enlightenment campaign for prevention of global warming
Enlightenment campaign with pamphlets, etc. in corporation with leading companies in Kyoto, Kyoto University and local administrations provides information to drum up participation in global warming prevention.
